VOD 02: VIETNAM CLASSIC TOUR: 12 DAYS/ 11 NIGHTS

 

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
You will be picked up at Noi Bai International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Be on your own until the next morning.
Enjoy your first night in Vietnam!

 

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour     (B)
After breakfast, you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and Temple of Literature.
In the afternoon, you will visit Historical Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple before touring the Old Quarter of Hanoi in a cyclo. On the streets in the old quarter, antique shops are available. A water puppet show ticket will be reserved for you in the evening before your second night in Hanoi.

 

Day 3: Hanoi/ Ha Long     (B/L/D)

After breakfast, you will be on a bus trip to Ha Long Bay, the world heritage of Vietnam. A nice boat will be ready (about 12: p.m.) to take you to explore the magical Ha Long Bay, including islets, natural caves, swimming area (if can swim if the weather permits). Your lunch on boat will be served with fresh and delicious seafood. Dinner and bed are ready for you in Ha Long Bay.

 

 Day 4: Ha Long/ Hanoi     (B/L)

The next morning, you will explore Man’s Head Island, Tortoise Island, Luon Cave, Bai Tu Long Bay, Ton Island, and Bai Tho Mount (or Poem Mount) after your 7 a.m. breakfast. Your lunch is served on boat around noon. On the way back to Hanoi, you will visit Dong Trieu Ceramic Village for some minutes. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 5: Hanoi/ Hue     (B)

After your breakfast, you will be picked up to the airport for a flight to Hue. Check in your selected hotel. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the peaceful  and romantic Perfume River on a nice boat and visit  the 7-storey Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank. A visit to Minh Mang’s Tomb is included in this trip.

Day 6: Hue/ Da Nang/ Hoi An     (B)

After your breakfast, you will explore the Imperial Citadel, Tu Duc's Tomb, and Khai Dinh’s Tomb. Afterward, you will be transferred to Danang via Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Fishing Village. City and country landscapes are on your way to Hoi An. Your favorite hotel will be waiting for you. Enjoy your first night in Hoi An! 

 

Day 7: Hoi An     (B)

After your breakfast, you will explore Hoi An Town, one of the world heritages in Vietnam.The ancient town of Hoi An is ready for you to explore. Places you will visit include Japanese Bridge, Phung Hung Merchant House, Phuc Kien Pagoda, and Quang Dong Assembly. Hoi An is the place where you should have your tops, suits, and long dresses tailored; or you can just buy the already made clothes. It is recommended.

Enjoy your second night in Hoi An!

 

Day 8: Hoi An/ Da Nang/ Saigon     (B)

After your  breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for a  flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). After you are picked up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will tour the busy and lively Saigon for a whole day. Your list of visiting places includes the Old Colonial Residential Quarter, the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, Notre - Dame Cathedral, the French - Style Post Office,  and the Reunification Palace. In the afternoon, you will visit the War Remnants Museum, Binh Tay Market, and Cho Lon (Big Market - where most Chinese Vietnamese have been living for many years). Your exploring day finishes with your visit to Thien Hau Pagoda. Enjoy your first night in Saigon!

 

 Day 9: Saigon/ Tay Ninh/ Cu Chi/ Saigon     (B)

After your breakfast, you will visit Tay Ninh Town and explore the Holy See (or Great Divine) Temple, where the headquarters of Cao Dai Religion are located. Before heading to Cu Chi Tunnels in Saigon, you may attend a colorful congregation at the temple at noon. Enjoy your second night in Saigon!

 

 Day 10: Saigon/ Cai Be/ Vinh Long/ Can Tho     (B/L)

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to Cai Be for a cruise on the Mekong river and its different channels to Vinh Long. You will explore Cai Be Floating Market, the Old Colonial House, a rice corn factory before tasting your fresh and delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue discover the so-called capital of the southwest of Vietnam in the Mekong River delta. Enjoy your night in Can Tho!

 

 Day 11: Can Tho/ Cai Rang/ Saigon     (B)

After your breakfast, a boat will take you to visit Cai Rang Floating Market, a family- run noodle factory, and beautiful plants and rice paddies along the riverbanks. Afterward, you will explore Can Tho’s Market and Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho City before returning to Saigon. Enjoy your last but not least night in Vietnam!

 

 Day 12: Saigon Departure     (B)

After your last Vietnamese breakfast, you will have sometime on your own before you are taken to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure.
